Isfahan has been the heart of Persian court weaving for four centuries, and this piece carries that lineage in every knot. The central medallion floats on a deep madder field, framed by arabesque vinework and a finely drawn palmette border. Wool pile over a silk warp gives it a subtle sheen that shifts with the light and with the direction you walk across it.
