Turkmenistan
Bokhara Ivory
$2,100
The gül, a repeating octagonal emblem, is the signature of Turkmen weaving, and on this ivory ground it becomes something restrained and almost architectural. Rows of güls march in disciplined columns, their deep reds and browns softened by the pale field between them. It is an understated rug, at home in quiet, modern rooms as easily as traditional ones.
